New Source for 2026 Water Rebates
Starting Jan. 1, 2026, the City of Longmont will be taking over the water efficiency
rebate programs currently offered by Efficiency Works. This includes rebates for
high-efficiency toilets, ENERGY STAR clothes washers, sprinkler system equipment
and more. To learn more about these programs, visit water rebates online.
Updates Coming to 2026 Utility Rates
Beginning Jan. 1, Longmont utility customers will see adjustments to their water,
electric and sanitation rates in order to maintain their reliable, high-quality
service. For a typical household, these changes will come to an additional
$13.08/month on the overall utility bill when added together. To help offset the
rate change, the City has also increased the rebates available through Longmont
CAReS for qualifying residents. Find more information, including options for
controlling your bill through increasing efficiency or adjusting your waste
service, at Utility rates online.
