Clear your sidewalks

Clear sidewalks are important for people to get around safely in neighborhoods and business areas. Per the City Municipal Code, sidewalks for residents and businesses need to be cleared of snow and ice 24 hours after a winter storm has ended, with the only exception being single-family homes where the sidewalk is up against an arterial street. Clearing the sidewalks is the responsibility of homeowners, tenants and business owners. For any questions, call 303-651-8695. Learn how to be snow savvy or understand how the City deploys its snow and ice operations at the City of Longmont website
