Arbor Day Tree Sale Lottery

Longmont’s annual community tree sale runs March 2-8. Coordinated by City of Longmont Forestry Services, the sale offers a variety of trees to Longmont residents for just $60 each: below wholesale cost. Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

Calling all egg hunters! Put on your swimsuit and search for Easter eggs in our leisure pool at 5 pm or 6:30 pm on Saturday, March 28 at the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Rd. Participant cost is $7, and there is no fee and no registration required for adults who swim with their registered children. Registration opens March 3 and spots are limited. Art & Sip: Zentangle on Wood

Relax while you learn the calming art of Zentangle in this Longmont Museum class Thursday March 5 at either 4 pm or 6:30 pm. You will create mesmerizing designs on natural wooden slices. This class blends mindfulness, creativity and nature as you learn to transform simple wood slices into meditative works of art. Join the Longmont Museum and the Mariposa Collective for “Reminiscences,” a performance weaving together the athleticism of contemporary dance, the narrative depth of theater and the visual artistry of shadow puppetry. It’s that time of year again! This is your friendly reminder to get busy making your book-themed PEEPS dioramas for this year’s exhibit in the Library lobby. Build anytime through March 26, drop them off starting March 19, and come see all the masterPEEPS on display from March 27 – April 3. Apply: Public Safety Review Panel

The Longmont City Manager is accepting applications for volunteer positions on the Longmont Public Safety Professional Standards Review Panel. This panel reviews investigations of public safety employees conducted by the Professional Standards Unit and provides recommendations to the Chief of Public Safety.
