Longmont Wants Your Input
Recently, the City of Longmont conducted a study of human service needs among Longmont residents. The results will help the City understand the unmet needs in our community and will help the Housing & Human Services Advisory Board (HHSAB) establish priorities for allocating City funding to local human service organizations. The City is inviting residents to learn more about the results and to meet with staff and HHSAB members to discuss how the City might best address critical human service needs at one of these community meetings: 1) Tuesday, March 21, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Avenue, or 2) Wednesday, March 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Road. To register, visit LongmontColorado.gov/news/calendar. Contact Community Services Director Karen Roney at 303-651-8633 or Karen.Roney@LongmontColorado.gov for more information.

Don’t Leave Your Meter Hanging
With home renovation and repair season getting close, please remember to do a brief checkup on your electric meter. If the meter’s housing appears to be damaged, not fully secured, or falling off the wall, make sure to have a licensed electrician repair it. This is important both for your safety and to ensure continued reliable electric service to your home. To have the power turned off during repairs, call Longmont Power & Communications at 303-651-8386 during regular business hours.
