Longmont Symphony Orchestra Concert
The Longmont Symphony Orchestra will perform Stravinsky’s “L’Histoire du Soldat”
(“The Soldier’s Tale”) at the Longmont Museum on Thursday, March 20 at 7 pm.
The celebrated 1918 theater piece features a mix of jazz, tango rhythms, marches, a
waltz and chorale. A soldier on leave from the army trades his violin for a magic book
that can tell the future but he soon discovers that he has made a deal with the devil.

Free History Tour at Sandstone Ranch
Enjoy a guided tour of the historic Morse Coffin family home at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 22, at the Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive. Learn about the Coffin family and what life was like in the 1800s for homesteaders in the area. All ages are welcome! Celebrate Fix a Leak Week
This week is the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Fix a Leak Week. Youth Life Skills Fair
The City of Longmont’s Children, Youth and Families division has teamed up with the St. Vrain Valley School District to host a Youth Life Skills Fair. Teens aged 11-17 can explore hands-on workshops on everything from health and practical skills to job opportunities and local City resources. Set in a festival atmosphere, the day will include games, a live DJ and food trucks offering refreshments for purchase. The fun happens Sunday, April 6, from 11 am to 4 pm at the Boulder County Fairgrounds (9595 Nelson Road in Longmont). Register and learn more at

Train to Be a Lifeguard
Learn the basics of lifeguard skills during Spring Break. First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer are included. This class for ages 15+ will be taught March 20-23 at Centennial Pool.
