Light-a-Candle to Support Your Library
Visit the Longmont Public Library at 409 4th Avenue between November 28 and December 11 to purchase a book that will be added to the library’s collection. A special bookplate inside the donated book honors the donor, and an ornament with the donor’s name is hung on the Light-a-Candle Tree in the library lobby. Or, visit the library’s WishList webpage at bit.ly/Lib-Wishes and make a donation there. All contributions are tax deductible, and prices on the items vary significantly to allow everyone to participate. During this season of giving, consider giving something back to the community you love. Donate a book and support your library!

Sign Up for Winter/Spring Recreation Classes
The winter/spring 2017 Recreation & Golf Services activities brochure is being mailed to Longmont households next week, and registration begins Tuesday, December 6. This edition contains activities, classes and special events from December to early May.

Opinions Sought on Downtown
