Water from pools, hot tubs, and fountains contain chemicals that can be toxic to aquatic life if drained directly into the storm drains. When draining this fall, dechlorinate before draining, remove solids and oils, and discharge water slowly and carefully and not directly into the street. Learn more about keeping our waterways clean at Keep It Clean Partnership website.
