Three-Week Closure on S. Coffman Street Starts July 22
Three-Week Closure on S. Coffman Street Starts July 22
The City of Longmont is planning a full closure of S. Coffman Street from Pike Road to Utah Way for approximately three weeks starting on Wednesday, July 22. The approximately one-block closure is necessary to ensure the safety of crews reconstructing S. Coffman Street as part of the Pike Road Improvements project.
Local traffic and residents living on S. Coffman Street between Pike Road and Utah Way will be granted access at all times from Quebec Avenue or Missouri Avenue north of Pike Road. Left and right turns from Pike Road onto S. Coffman Street will be prohibited. Emergency services and Waste Services collection trucks will be granted access to this section of S. Coffman Street from the north.
The public is encouraged to avoid using Pike Road and S. Coffman Street as a commuter route until this phase of construction is complete. Current project information and traffic impacts can be found on the project website at http://bit.ly/Pike-Road-Improvements.
If you have questions or concerns about the project, please call the Project Hotline at (720) 526-2044 or email PikeImprovements@gmail.com.
