Traffic Impacts Starting May 27 on Coffman Street Between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue
May 23, 2025 – Starting Tuesday May 27, the southbound lanes of Coffman Street will be closed between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue for approximately two months. This is a continuation of construction on the west side of Coffman Street which will progress from 6th Avenue to 2nd Avenue.

Only northbound traffic will be allowed between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue.

Parking will be prohibited on the west side of Coffman Street on this block.

The northbound lanes of Coffman Street remain closed between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue. Only southbound traffic is allowed in that block.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Coffman Street are still closed between 5th Avenue at The Spoke parking garage and 6th Avenue. Access to the parking garage is open from 5th Avenue.

Access to all businesses on Coffman Street will remain open. Some driveways on the west side of Coffman Street may be temporarily closed for short periods.
Also starting on May 27, there will be a full closure of both lanes of traffic on 4th Avenue just west of Coffman Street. This closure will be in place for approximately 4 weeks.

Traffic will not be able to cross through the intersection at Coffman Street and 4th Avenue during the closure.

The first two parking spaces on 4th Avenue west of Coffman Street will be closed.

The driveways to the parking lots for the Coffman Professional Building and TBK Bank from 4th Avenue will remain open.

Traffic on 4th Avenue heading west from Main Street will only be able to turn right onto northbound Coffman Street. Traffic heading east on 4th Avenue from Bross Street will need to detour at Terry Street to 3rd Avenue or 5th Avenue.
