Two Bank Robberies Committed By Same Suspects Dec 31, 2021
Longmont Police believe two bank robberies committed today were done by the same suspects.
At 1:13 pm, a Caucasian male (approximately 5’10”-5’11” inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds) entered the Wells Fargo located at 635 Coffman Street. The male passed a note to the teller demanding money, the teller complied, and the male left the area in a light colored SUV. The male was described as wearing a light blue surgical mask, gray baseball cap on backwards, sunglasses and a black jacket.
At approximately 2:18 pm, a male matching the same description as the first robbery walked into First Bank at 1707 Main Street. The male passed a note to the teller with the same demands for money and the teller complied. The male left First Bank and walked from the northwest corner of 17th and Main to the southwest corner of 17th and Main and got into the passenger seat of a 2014-2016 white Subaru Forester parked in the area of the southwest corner of 17th and Main. The Subaru left the area in an unknown direction.
No weapon was seen in either robbery. Police believe the robbery suspect who entered the bank has dark brown hair and some facial hair.
