Two Call for Artists AIPP Project Deadlines Extended

Art In Public PlacesLauren Greenfield, Art in Public Places Administrator, announced today that two “Call To Artists” project deadlines have been extended to October 12, 2016.

Downtown Tree Stump Project: The Art in Public Places Commission of the City of Longmont is seeking an artist to design and carve two Colorado Palm (aka Honey Locust) tree stumps measuring approximately 7-8 feet tall at the intersection of the 300 block East side alley way and the 300 E-W breezeway in downtown Longmont.

Repainting Library Entryway Project: The City of Longmont’s Art in Public Places is seeking an artist who is meticulous in their work to re-paint an iconic entryway in front of the Longmont Public Library.
