Lauren Greenfield, Art in Public Places Administrator, announced today that two “Call To Artists” project deadlines have been extended to October 12, 2016.

Downtown Tree Stump Project: The Art in Public Places Commission of the City of Longmont is seeking an artist to design and carve two Colorado Palm (aka Honey Locust) tree stumps measuring approximately 7-8 feet tall at the intersection of the 300 block East side alley way and the 300 E-W breezeway in downtown Longmont.

Repainting Library Entryway Project: The City of Longmont’s Art in Public Places is seeking an artist who is meticulous in their work to re-paint an iconic entryway in front of the Longmont Public Library.
