Union Reservoir Entrance Closing at Noon on July 4
Union Reservoir (461 Weld County Road 26) is expected to reach full capacity for both vehicles and visitors well before noon on Friday, July 4. Due to limited parking and restrooms, no additional cars, walkers, or bicyclists will be allowed in once the park is full. The entrance to Union will close at noon, and barricades will block further access.

Longmont Recreation encourages families to consider one of the many city parks for July 4 gatherings. Many parks have BBQ grills, playgrounds, and restrooms. You can learn more and reserve a picnic shelter at bit.ly/park-shelters. Reminder: Alcohol is not allowed in public parks without a Use of Public Places Permit. Apply early at bit.ly/LongmontUOPP – processing can take a few weeks.
Celebrate Independence Day in Downtown Longmont with music, fun, and fireworks:
