The City experienced a water main break in the area of Mountain View Avenue and Martin Street this afternoon, and Operations and Maintenance crews are onsite making repairs. They will remain onsite until the repairs are completed. They expect the work to continue into the evening. Currently, traffic is closed on Mountain View between Lashley Street and Martin Street.

As a result of the break, crews are also spot flushing the water distribution system in this area. During this time, residents may notice low water pressure, discolored water or no water for short periods of time. Throughout this process, the water remains safe to use.
