Wildfire Resources and How to Help

The City of Longmont has been receiving calls from residents seeking information on the wildfires and generously asking how they can help both evacuees and those involved in the firefighting efforts.

At this time, Longmont is not under immediate threat from any of the fires. Evacuation centers for people leaving Estes Park have been set up in Loveland and Westminster, and Longmont resources are standing by for any additional need.

Longmont’s water supply is not immediately impacted as a result of the wildfires and staff is working locally and with regional partners to identify the most effective supply and treatment alternatives for any future impacts. Ralph Price Reservoir is currently completely full and ample water supplies have already been delivered into Carter Lake.

Please note that Button Rock Preserve remains closed to the public until further notice.
