Winter Weather Alert: Snow and Ice

The City is preparing to launch snow and ice operations on Thursday, March 7 for a winter storm that is expected to begin Thursday and continue through Friday morning. Between 1-2 inches of snow is expected to fall by Friday morning with cold temperatures causing potential ice hazards. Please prepare, use caution and avoid or limit travel when conditions are hazardous.

Follow the Code.

Most residents are required to remove snow and ice from the public sidewalks adjacent to their property. Longmont Municipal Code states that you have 24 hours after a storm ends to clear your sidewalks.
