Overview

Clover Meadows Neighborhood Park is a 6.84-acre park located in southwest Longmont at 4850 Heatherhill Street. Surrounding neighborhoods include Somerset Meadows, Meadowview West, Tromonto, and the future North Star neighborhood.

The park property was donated in two sections: a two acre portion with the Meadowview West subdivision and a 4.84 acre portion with the North Star development. The park was also funded in part by the Somerset Meadows developer.

Clover Meadows Neighborhood Park Master Plan

Neighborhood parks typically include a parking lot, a restroom, shelters, playgrounds and open turf areas. There are unique opportunities for each park site, however, so the City solicited public ideas about what should be included in the master plan for this park.

Neighborhood residents and other members of the community were invited to participate through public meetings, a survey on potential design concepts and an opportunity to offer suggestions for park names. Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and City Council presentations were scheduled following a public meeting.

Schedule

A design contract for the park has been awarded. Construction is anticipated to begin in the winter of 2024 and be completed in late 2024.
