In 1907, Horace E. and Jennie T. Booth purchased the entire lot and moved into 638 Emery Street. In May of 1907, the property was subdivided and construction began on 634 Emery Street.

Horace and Jennie had four children. Their only son, George E. Booth, was quarterback for the Longmont High School football team. On Christmas Day in 1908, Longmont High School won the national football championship by beating the Englewood High School team from Chicago by a score of 13 to 0.
