Garden Acres Pedestrian Bridge Replacement

A pedestrian bridge that crosses Oligarchy Ditch in Garden Acres Community Park will be replaced by an improved bridge that was salvaged from the Resilient St. Vrain Project. The project will include re-decking the salvaged bridge and reworking adjacent trails, landscaping, and irrigation on either side of the bridge.

Schedule

Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, November 17 and is anticipated to be completed before the end of January, 2026.

 

Update: April 16, 2026

The City of Longmont issued a Notice of Construction Acceptance for the Garden Acres Bridge Replacement Project on April 16, 2026. Monitoring of warranty items will continue through April 2027.
