The Hotel Longmont, a brown and black five story building, is viewed from the southeast corner of Kimbark and 3rd.

Project Overview

On November 15, 2022, the Longmont City Council voted to move forward on a proposal to develop a five-story boutique hotel in downtown Longmont to be located at the northwest corner of Kimbark and 3rd Avenue. The City has partnered with the Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA), the General Improvement District (GID) and The Thrash Group on this plan.

 

The hotel offers 84 guest rooms, 5,000 square feet of destination rooftop restaurant space, 2,600 square feet of flexible meeting space, 2,000 square feet of commercial space and both hotel and public parking spaces.

 

Project Status/Schedule

  • Preliminary work began in March 2024 resulting in closure of 300 East Parking Lot
  • Project completion scheduled in late 2025
  • The hotel opened for business on June 12, 2026.
