The City of Longmont is also committed to transparency with the public and has made several records available through self-service online portals.

The following record types are available through the Longmont Online Records Portal:

• Annexation Documents
• Boards and Commission Documents
• Building Permit Documents
• City Council Minutes
• Easement Documents
• Election Administration
• Election Campaigns
• Ordinance and Resolutions
• Subdivision Documents

If you select the “Select Keyword Search” option, you can then choose the “Search Type” from the drop-down. A search can be further narrowed down by entering keyword information or selecting keywords from the drop-down boxes.

When entering keyword information, using the asterisks (for example *999 Main*) around search terms will act as a “wildcard” which will account for any differences in keywords that may be in place of that asterisk. When the results have loaded, click on any of the results and the document will open in a viewing window in your browser. Documents can then be saved from there. To close a document, use the “X” in the orange bar and the results page will appear again.

Service Request System is designed to be your one-stop spot for questions, concerns and requests. Requests are monitored Monday – Friday during business hours. If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1.

How To Use Link2Longmont

Service Request System:

1. Browse through the categories listed below to find information on common questions and concerns. Some requests may be serviced through another online customer portal.
2. If you need to submit a request, use the Log In box to access your account (if this is your first request, please register and complete the verification step).
3. Once you have logged in, choose a Category or Topic from the drop down menu on the form and select a Topic to create a new service request.
4. Hang tight for your request to be routed; anticipate a response within 2-4 business days.*
5. To view requests that you previously created, click on “Service Requests (requested by you) in the top black menu bar.

You will receive an email confirming that your request has been received. You may then log back in to your account to make any corrections or add more information to your request. Responses and updates to your request will also be accessible within your account.

* The City of Longmont makes every attempt to respond to issues within two business days. Your request will be handled on an individual basis. In some cases, it may take longer to actually resolve.

The Public Meeting Portal houses documents such as agendas, packets, and minutes from the City Council and the City’s Boards and Commissions. This portal also provides a powerful search function by selecting the blue “Advanced Search” option. A search can be narrowed by using several filters that are available.

The Accela Citizen Access portal houses documents and information related to building inspections, certificates of occupancy, code enforcement, certain licensing types, and planning applications.

To begin a search, choose the search option under one of the document headings. The next page will allow you to narrow the search with the ability to enter time frames and/or addresses.

The City of Longmont has made several maps and webcams available on the website.
