Register as a Sex Offender
- If you are required to register as a sex offender and are within the Longmont city limits you must make an appointment by calling 303-651-8524.
- Once you have made an appointment, arrive in person at the City of Longmont Safety and Justice Center (Police), located at 225 Kimbark Street. Excuse our mess, we are currently under construction. Please ask staff or look for signage to direct you.
- You must fill out all paperwork given to you when you arrive. The initial registration fee is $75, and all subsequent annual/quarterly registration fees are $20. We accept cash, check, or money order, but NOT credit/debit cards. If you are unable to pay this fee, an extension may be requested.
- Offenders registering in Longmont for the first time will be photographed and fingerprinted.
- The Community Service Officer in Detectives is responsible for entering sex offender registration fees when the registrant is unable to pay at the time of registration. If agreements to pay later are not honored, the unit sends billing information to accounts receivable at the City of Longmont.
