FLEX – Transit Route Connects Longmont north to Berthoud, Loveland and Fort Collins

Through a regional partnership, a new transit route, FLEX, connects the following cities via U.S. Highway 287: Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud and Longmont.

Operations began in June 2010 and the bus service runs Monday through Saturday.

FLEX Service: FLEX offers a variety of options to maximize convenience and accessibility to communities in Northern Colorado. During peak morning and evening times, an express route will serve primary stops between Fort Collins and Longmont. Mid-day, FLEX will provide basic service between Fort Collins and Loveland. Schedule details including service locations and times are on the website, www.ridetransfort.com/flex, and are also available by contacting Transfort customer service at (970) 221-6620.

FLEX Fares:
A single ride on FLEX will cost $1.25; Seniors (60+), Disabled and Medicare: $0.60; Youth (17 and younger): Free.
RTD’s Eco Pass, Transfort and COLT passes will also be accepted.

Transfers: Passengers may transfer to and from FLEX on to COLT and Transfort systems. Passengers will need to pay RTD fare or use an RTD pass to board the RTD system.
