Construction Notice – Traffic Impact at the Intersection of Coffman Street and 2nd Avenue

Starting Monday, September 29, Coffman Street will be closed approximately 100 feet south of 2nd Avenue for about three weeks. Both lanes of Coffman Street will be closed on the south side of the intersection. There will be no turns from 2nd Avenue onto Coffman Street heading south during normal working hours, Monday – Friday, 7 am – 6 pm. Access will be provided for emergency services as needed during these times. The intersection will re-open in the evenings and on weekends.

The north side of the intersection will be open. Both northbound and southbound lanes of Coffman Street will be open between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue until paving happens on Tuesday, Sept. 30. However, north/south through traffic will not be allowed across the intersection. The pedestrian crosswalks at the intersection will also be closed.
