Longmont Multicultural Action Committee Cultural Event Grant
The Longmont Multicultural Action Committee (LMAC) works to inspire the local community to take individual and collective action to promote cultural understanding, inclusion, and involvement and to create a society where everyone belongs. LMAC sponsors and supports yearly events such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, Lunar New Year, Cinco de Mayo, Inclusive Communities, Day of the Dead, and many more. Grants range from $100 to $3,000.
APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ALL YEAR ROUND!

- Please note that you will need to create a new account if you are a first time applicant.
- Applications must be completed at least 60 days prior to the planned date.
- Please note that grantees may be asked to attend a review meeting by the LMAC Explore Committee. Grantees may also request a review meeting.
Funding Requirements
- Events must be held within City of Longmont limits.
- Events must be advertised, open to all, and free to the public.
- Events must provide a cultural and educational experience for the community.
- Funds awarded must only be used for the stated purpose of the grant.
- Note: If the application fails to meet any of the listed requirements, it will be automatically denied. The committee may choose to approve funding for less than the requested amount.
- Funds can not be used to purchase alcohol, propane, and/or items requiring open flame.
If funded
- Event grantees must give credit to LMAC in all publicity and media materials (add logos in all advertisement).
Please note that funds must be returned if the event is canceled. If the event violates any guidelines, it may affect eligibility for future funding opportunities.
