Inclusive Communities Celebration
The planning committee for the Inclusive Communities Celebration has decided to postpone the event until we learn more
from Boulder County Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Until then let's come together to lead with intention, empathy, and kindness.
For more information about COVID-19 and community events, please visit the CDC's website.
About
The Inclusive Communities Celebration offers many opportunities to connect with people of diverse cultures. Community members voluntarily come to share their cultural background with cultural displays, traditional art, dresses, sampling of cultural/ethnic foods, cultural activities and cultural performances.
Past celebrations have featured art, food and cultural performances (including song and dance) from Peru, Mexico, East India and China as well as from Native American organizations and African American traditions.
The Longmont Multicultural Action Committee is committed to advocating and working together to create a caring, inclusive, and equitable community that embraces, respects, celebrates, and learns from each other.
