Neighborhood Leadership Series Trainings
Leadership is a key factor in creating positive community change, improving quality of life, and facilitating a stronger sense of community. The Neighborhood Leadership Series (NLS) supports Longmont’s current and aspiring community leaders with opportunities to enhance their skills through targeted training sessions.
All classes are free, open to the public, and are hosted in-person on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. at the Senior Center or conducted virtually via Zoom if noted on the event registration.

This series covers things like community leadership, organizing, HOA board training, sustainability, and resilience. Our goal is to help make Longmont a welcoming, thriving place for everyone who lives here.
First HOA Introductory Class in Spanish — Register Today
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we are offering an introductory class in Spanish about Homeowner Associations (HOAs). This class is for people who live, rent, or are thinking about buying a home in an HOA.
You will learn:
- What HOAs do
- How HOAs help protect property values and build strong communities
- Your rights and responsibilities as an HOA member o a renter within an HOA
- How to work with your HOA whether you rent or own your home
Please note: This class will be held in person and conducted entirely in Spanish.
