Longmont Municipal Court
The Longmont Judicial Department is comprised of the Municipal Court and Probation. The Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction and handles violations of the Longmont Municipal Code and Charter. It is located in the Safety and Justice Center, 225 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501.

Upcoming Closures
The Safety & Justice Center lobby will be closed August 24 – September 4, 2026. If you need to speak with us during that time, please call 303-774-4744.
Probation offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the 4th of July and on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day.
CONSTRUCTION & PARKING CLOSURES
Plan to arrive early as there are multiple construction projects currently underway around the Safety & Justice Center which affects parking. Building access is through the Northwest Entrance.
Visit the Longmont Safety and Justice Parking Garage site for more information. Limited handicapped parking is available along Kimbark Street, south of 3rd Avenue, as well as in the Safety and Justice Center east parking lot off Emery Street.
If you are attending court on Tuesday morning, VIA will pick you up from the east lot beginning at 8:30 am and bring you to the front of the building.
As always, you have the option to submit a Motion to Continue or request to appear for court via video prior to your court date.
