Electric Utility Services
LPC provides Power For Lifeâ„¢, lighting your homes, your businesses and the streets around your neighborhood. We keep you at the heart of all we do.
We’re your electric service. For over 110 years as your community-owned, not-for-profit electric service, we’ve delivered on a fundamental promise: to provide you with safe, reliable electricity at affordable rates. We’ve been committed to serving our community because we’re part of the community.
Powering a Sustainable Future
With our eyes on the future, we’re taking steps to reduce our reliance on carbon-based fuels and meet ambitious goals set by our community to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
One important way we do this is through Efficiency Works, our shared customer engagement organization. Efficiency Works is a partnership between Platte River Power Authority and the communities of Longmont, Loveland, Estes Park and Fort Collins that works with electrical customers to improve their energy efficiency. This assistance includes residential and commercial energy assessments, advising and rebates, helping customers use less energy or make good decisions about how and when they use energy.
Sustainable Practices and Energy Resources
LPC is dedicated to sustainability and offers various renewable energy initiatives, conservation programs, and resources to help customers use energy more efficiently. We work towards reducing our carbon footprint and promoting a sustainable future for Longmont.
