• Discovery Days: Come get a sample of Discovery Days, our arts, crafts, and music program for ages 2 – 6 with a caregiver! Meet the Instructors, play in the puppet theater, explore the sensory table, and make a cute unicorn craft to take home with you.
• Adult & teen art classes: Visit the art studio to learn about our teen and adult art programs. Complete a fun alcohol marker coloring activity, view sample projects, and discover the variety of materials and techniques we offer!
• History of Longmont Talk: Curator of History Elizabeth Beaudoin will chronicle Longmont’s history from ancient times to present. Learn about the area’s Native American history, the Chicago-Colorado Colony’s venture, the establishment of old and new industries, and how the city has grown and changed over the decades.
• Auditorium: Step into the Stewart Auditorium for a continuous screening of “Silly Symphonies,” a collection of inventive, animated shorts from 1929 and 1930. Created during the remarkable early years of synchronized sound animation, these playful films transform skeletons, dancing fish, forest creatures, insects, fireflies, and figures from mythology into miniature musical worlds.
