In this lecture, we critically assess the standard academic narrative about the 1953 coup in Iran. We find that the “story told” is both incomplete and oversimplified, but this story has tremendous cultural significance.
Drop-in on Mondays at 6 pm for a thoughtful, intentional and inclusive space to gather around the art and craft of writing.
Open chess evenings are informal and there will be basic instruction on how to play. We also have plenty of books about playing and the history of the game.
