Overview
In honor of Colorado Arbor Day, Forestry Services coordinates an annual online tree sale lottery for the community each Spring. With Emerald Ash Borer in Longmont, planting new trees is more important than ever to grow the health and beauty of our urban forest.
The 2026 sale will run March 2-8. Longmont residents can enter the lottery at any time during that window. If you’d like to receive email updates about the sale, complete the form below.
Please note if you don’t already have an account in the City’s Rectrac system, it can take a few days to get it up and running. If you’re interested in the tree lottery, don’t wait until the final days of the sale create an account. You can create an account at any time; you don’t have to wait until the beginning of the sale.
