Housing & Community Wellness is a supportive program designed to help individuals stay in their homes, improve their well-being, and feel connected to a caring community. We provide:
- Mental health support through one-on-one counseling
- Help reducing or quitting alcohol or drug use
- Respectful support for individuals struggling with hoarding
- Assistance with housing stability, including support for voucher holders or individuals at risk of losing their housing
- Help connecting with local resources
- Skill-building to support long-term housing stability
Our goal is to meet people where they are and provide practical, compassionate support that helps them move forward.
To help people stay in their homes, grow as individuals, feel better and be part of a caring community.
We believe that stable housing and emotional well-being go hand in hand. Our work is grounded in the following values:
- Trauma-Informed Care: We understand that many people have experienced hardship, stress, or trauma. We create a safe, supportive environment and work at a pace that feels comfortable for each individual.
- Respectful & Non-Judgmental Support: We meet people where they are. Whether someone is working on their mental health, substance use, or organization challenges, we provide support without shame or criticism.
- Culturally Responsive Care: We recognize and respect the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences of the people we serve. We aim to provide inclusive services that honor each person’s identity and values.
- Harm-Reduction Approach: When supporting individuals who use alcohol or drugs, we focus on safety, stability, and practical steps forward. Our goal is to support healthier choices while respecting individual readiness for change.
- Strengths-Based Support: We believe every person has strengths. Our role is to help individuals build on those strengths to maintain housing, improve well-being, and feel empowered.
