How YOU Can Help People Experiencing Homelessness

By working together as a community, we can help people experiencing homelessness receive vital resources to help them onto a path toward stable housing. Please consider donating your time, resources, and voice.

Volunteer

Volunteering can be extremely rewarding: helping others feels good. Consider donating your time as HOPE volunteer, OUR Center volunteer, All Roads Shelter in Boulder volunteer, or other non-profits that working towards helping people transition out of homelessness and into stable housing.

Give

Giving money directly to a person experiencing homelessness does not address the root problem. Consider donating money or supplies to give to HOPE, the give to OUR Center, the give to All Roads Shelter in Boulder or other non-profits working on homeless solutions.

Say Something

People experiencing homelessness are people. In some cases, their lives might have been very similar to yours before a financial crisis cost them their housing. Acknowledge their presence – even by just saying “hello.”

If you see someone in need, notify HOPE at 720-494-4673 so their street outreach team can provide help.

Share your perspective with policy makers. You can reach out to Longmont City Council members on-line or meet with Council members for coffee.
