Celebrating 150 Years: In 2021, the City of Longmont celebrated 150 years of growth, innovation and community with citywide events, a museum exhibit, tree planting and other programs.
The Work Went On: Departments and divisions across the City do the important everyday work that makes our city a wonderful place to live.
Reconnecting with the Community: Residents came together again at the Sister Cities ceremony, Day of the Dead, Turkey Trot and other events.
Onward & Upward: From park redesigns winning awards to NextLight expanding its service, the City continually works to improve the quality of life for its residents.
Equity: From training City staff to collaborating with the county and surrounding communities, equity was at the forefront.
Dedication & Service: The Longmont Public Safety Department works 24/7/365 to keep our community safe.
Data Driven: Using data to access strategies across the City helps all of us build a better future for everyone.
Sustainability: The City continues on their mission to create a more sustainable future.
