A Site For Sore Eyes
A Site For Sore Eyes
My parents lived in the same house from 1977 until 2016. Or at least, in the same building. By the time they left, it definitely wasn’t the same house.
The state-of-the-1970s burnt orange and avocado green shag carpeting had been replaced with wood floors. The backyard aspen trees that sent taproots everywhere eventually passed away and had their place filled with a koi pond. A fireplace was removed to open up the downstairs. And of course, it saw all the usual changes of appliances and décor that come with 40 years of living in one place.
It had never been a bad house, by any means. But as time went by, things changed. Needs emerged. Possibilities opened up to make it even better.
That happens online, too.
And it’s why we’re excited to show you our new remodel of the NextLight website.
If it’s been a while since you’ve stopped by our online home – maybe since the days when the “Big Build” construction map was the place to be? – you’ll definitely want to look around. There’s a bright new look. A simplified layout to help you get what you need in fewer clicks. We even have full bilingual support, with all content available in both English and Spanish.
And of course, you can still subscribe, pay your bill, find out about discounts and check your speed on the website. It’s useful, it’s easy, it’s even (dare we say it) fun. Most of all, it’s for you.
So come on by. Pay us a visit at MyNextLight.com. We think you’ll like what we’ve done with the place.
I guarantee – there’s not a scrap of shag carpeting to be seen.
Burnt orange or otherwise.
