A Time to Shine
A Time to Shine
Longmont Lights, we’ve missed you.
A week ago, Longmont’s bright and shiny holiday festival returned from its pandemic slumber. Music. Marchers. Festivities. LIGHTS. It all came back together to send a shiver of pleasure through anyone nearby … along with a few of the usual shivers from an early December night, of course.
We couldn’t have been happier.
Every year, we’re thrilled to break out the decorations, light up the trucks, and join the parade. How could we not? After all, we belong to you. And we always feel so welcome when we arrive. It’s not unusual to hear someone – or several someones – shout “Thank you, LPC!” or “We love our NextLight!”
We appreciate it. Just as we appreciate everything we’ve heard from you during the pandemic – by email, on social media, or even while hooking up your internet for the first time. Our aim has always been to be a good neighbor, and you’ve shown us that we’re a valued one.
That’s only fair. Because we value you. That’s why we work so hard to provide reliable power to your homes and businesses. It’s why we give you some of the fastest internet speeds in the country with no contracts or data caps. And we’ll keep working through wind, ice and even squirrels to get you what you need.
We hope you enjoy the holidays. Remember, even though our offices will be closed on Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1, we’ll still be ready to spring into action if there’s an outage or other urgent matter, so call LPC at 303-651-8386 or NextLight at 303-774-4494 if you need to report one. (And remember our winter power outage tips if the weather outside is frightful!)
Be merry. Be safe. And thank you again.
Like the parade, we think you’re brilliant.
