AMI on the WWW
AMI on the WWW
There’s a lot of fun things to be found on the web these days. Like how to get inspirational messages from grade-schoolers. Or cartoons with serious scientific approaches to bizarre questions. Or even the odd cat video.
Despite a general absence of felines, we like to think we’ve put up some neat stuff ourselves. Like our LPC Kids Korner with electric facts for grade-schoolers. Or our helpful online guide to solar energy. And of course, there’s that whole bright and flashy NextLight website that shows our high-speed fiber internet service at its finest.
Well, you can add one more newcomer to the mix. LPC now has an advanced metering web page.
If you’re a regular reader here, you may remember our recent blog piece about Advanced Metering Infrastructure, also known as AMI. These are the self-reading meters that we’re beginning to install this year, adding further reliability to the electric system and eventually more energy efficiency opportunities for you.
As the project moves forward, the web page will be a good place to find out more, whether it’s answers to basic questions, a map of our initial deployment area, or even recent updates. It won’t be the only place we share information – this blog and our LPC-NextLight Facebook page will have a lot to say, among other things – but it’ll always be a good place to start.
So stop on by anytime. You’re always welcome.
Who knows? Maybe we’ll even dig up a cat video or two.
