The Longmont City Council has opened their bi-annual recruitment to fill vacancies on City boards and commissions. Community members are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard and take a more active role in your community. Participants volunteer their time and advise City Council on a wide variety of issues that affect the safety, economy, and quality of life of Longmont’s residents and businesses.

Board members generally spend a few hours a month preparing for and attending meetings. Most boards require applicants to be a registered voter in Longmont and to reside inside Longmont city limits for at least one year prior to being appointed. Learn more and apply at longmontcolorado.gov/boards
