Button Rock Preserve re-opens to the public, closure possible again
As the Stone Canyon Fire continues to burn north of Lyons, Button Rock Preserve will re-open to the public. The Preserve was previously closed as a safety precaution while the efforts to contain the Stone Canyon Fire proceeded into the night, Tuesday. Rangers will continue to monitor conditions at Button Rock Preserve. Another closure is possible due to the wildfires in Larimer and Boulder counties. Rangers encourage all visitors to maintain situational awareness while hiking and comply with any emergency closures.
