Coffman Street Closing in Both Directions Starting April 17 Between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue

Starting Thursday, April 17, both the northbound and southbound lanes of Coffman Street will be closed from just north of The Spoke parking garage to 6th Avenue. This full closure will be in effect for approximately 5 weeks. It is necessary to complete concrete and utility work on the 500 block for the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements project.

      • Through-traffic will not be allowed between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue. Vehicles and bicyclists should use Main Street or Terry Street to detour around the closure.
      • The northbound and southbound lanes of Coffman Street between 6th Avenue and 9th Avenue will open on Wednesday, April 16. Vehicles driving southbound on Coffman Street will need to turn onto 6th Avenue during this closure. Vehicles on 6th Avenue will only be allowed to turn north onto Coffman Street.
      • Access to The Spoke Parking garage will remain open in both lanes. Vehicles may enter the garage from northbound Coffman Street coming from 5th Avenue and may exit by turning left onto southbound Coffman Street.
      • The sidewalks on both the east and west side of Coffman Street between The Spoke parking garage and 6th Avenue will be open with limited impacts at the intersections.
      • On-street parking between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue will be closed.
