Coffman Street Intersection Work Starting  Week of January 20 at 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue

Weather permitting, construction will start the week of January 20 to install conduit at the intersections of Coffman Street and 3rd and 4th Avenues. The intersections will remain open to traffic but there may be occasional lane closures and on-street parking closures to accommodate construction activities. Construction signage and flaggers will direct traffic, as needed. This work is expected to be completed in one to two weeks.

The conduit is being installed in preparation for future phases of the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements project which will start later this winter on Coffman Street between 6th and 2nd Avenues. Phase 1 of construction is currently underway on the east side of Coffman Street between 9th and 6th Avenues.

Please check the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements Project webpage for updates on the status of construction and potential traffic impacts.  We encourage the public to support businesses along Coffman Street and adjacent blocks throughout construction. Various parking options can be found on the DowntownLongmont.com parking webpage

Questions or concerns regarding the project should be directed to the project hotline at 720-432-7058 or by emailing CoffmanStreetMobility@longmontcolorado.gov.
