The City of Longmont is notifying community members of an upcoming road closure associated with the Pavement Management Program.

Beginning Monday, June 8 Cook Court will be fully closed between 17th Avenue and 18th Avenue for approximately 30 days through July 8.

The closure is necessary to support the asphalt reconstruction of Cook Court.

During the closure:

• Local neighborhood and business access will be maintained from Hover Street.
• Pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle traffic on Cook Court will be detoured to Spencer Street, Hover Street and 18th Avenue.

Drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists are encouraged to use caution, follow posted detour signs and allow additional travel time through the area.
