County Line Road Improvements Project Restarting February 15 After Winter Shut Down
Construction Update – The City of Longmont and DeFalco Construction will begin working again on County Line Road between 9th Avenue and 17th Avenue. This marks the start of the second phase of the project which is anticipated to be completed by the end of May 2021, weather permitting.
Travelers should expect minor traffic impacts on the east side of County Line Road as work begins on ditch improvements. Intermittent lane closures should be expected and use of alternative routes is encouraged. Final construction will be focused on completing all roadway widening and intersection elements between 9th Avenue and 17th Avenue, including demarcating on-street bike lanes, completing sidewalk improvements, and finalizing trail connections at the Jim Hamm Nature Area.
The public is encouraged to “slow for the cone zone” in the active construction area. Current project information and traffic impacts can be found on the project website at bit.ly/county-line-road-improvements.
