Dear Other ISP: Goodbye, Already (Full Speed Ahead blog)

Even in Longmont, the home of excellent community-owned internet, there are people who know the pain of dealing with Another Internet Provider. Expensive, frustrating pain.

We get it. That’s why NextLight exists, after all – to give you great service without big hassles. So if you have a neighbor who’s grumbling yet again about their provider, you might remind them that the holidays are a classic time for a breakup.

We even have the perfect letter.

Dear Other Internet Provider,

I’ll just come right out and say it: I’m leaving you for NextLight. I know you thought we’d be together forever. But that’s just it. We’ve had issues for a long time and no matter how much you promise to change, the same things keep happening.

Restrictive contracts. Hidden fees. A lot of promises that always end up benefitting you and leaving me in the cold … or on hold.

I’ve had enough. And I’ve found someone who’ll treat me right.

NextLight lives right here in town. If I need help, they’re able to come right over. They give me exactly what they promise – great speed, no contracts, prices that don’t keep changing year to year. They even give me $50 off my internet service as a present if I bring a friend over. This is stuff that dazzles the whole country – but Nextlight only has eyes for me.

So, goodbye, Other Provider. I know you’ll find someone else. You always were a fast talker. As for me, I’m spending my Christmas with NextLight – and I know 2026 is going to be a Happy New Year for us.

Happy Holidays. And remember, it’s not me – it’s you.

Sincerely,

Longmont’s newest NextLighter

OK, so maybe it won’t be a Hallmark movie anytime soon. But it’s a holiday goodbye that just might be the best present ever.

And if that’s not a “holiday special,” what is?
