Drone Flight Notification: July 13, 2026

City of Longmont Ecosystem Management will oversee a drone flight at the Waste Diversion Wetland east of the Longmont Recycling Center (140 Martin St.) on July 13 between noon and 4 pm.

The objective of the mission is to assess the density of List A noxious weeds in the area after the recent fire and cattail treatment. The flight is expected to last about 30 minutes and the drone will not be flown over civilians at any point during the mission.
