Some Longmont residents report they are receiving phone calls that claim that the City of Longmont is gathering information on the upcoming November election. The City never conducts voter surveys on City Council candidates and is not currently conducting any election polling or paying any third party for polling services.

The upcoming election to be held on November 5, 2019 will be coordinated by the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office. The City of Longmont has added several ballot questions to the upcoming general election ballot including four city council positions, and tax questions about building a new swimming pool and street maintenance, among other items.
