Fall Leaf Collection Starts Oct. 26
Curbside leaf collection is back. Bag your leaves, set them at the curb, and crews will pick them up during your neighborhood’s week.
Your collection week
- North of 9th Avenue: Oct. 26 – 30
- South of 9th Avenue: Nov. 2 – 6
How to get your leaves picked up
- Put bagged leaves at the curb in front of your house before 7 am on the Monday of your week. Crews will not pick up loose piles. Use paper bags if you can.
- Leave them out all week until crews reach your neighborhood.
- Keep bags out of alleys, even if your trash cart goes there.
Crews make one pass through each neighborhood. If your bags go out after they pass, you will need to drop the leaves off yourself.
Need bags?
Pick up 10 free paper bags at the Longmont Recycling Center while supplies last, one pickup per household. Bring your ID and a City of Longmont trash and recycling bill from the last six months.
Still have leaves falling?
You have two options any time of year:
- Take your yard waste to the Longmont Recycling Center, open Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm.
- If you subscribe to curbside composting, add leaves to your compost cart.
