Graffiti Seen As A Status Symbol

It is important to remove graffiti as soon as possible because if left in place, graffiti adds to the deterioration of neighborhoods. When an individual or neighborhood becomes involved in active and frequent removal of graffiti, it sends a message to offenders that their destructive graffiti and other activities will not be tolerated.

In Progress Graffiti individual(s) present:
If you see graffiti in progress, call 9-1-1. Useful information you can provide includes: description of those involved and their vehicle description (if there is one).  Do not approach those involved in what you believe is illegal activity.

Pre-existing Graffiti no individual(s) present:
Please submit a report online through ServiceWorks (https://serviceworks.longmontcolorado.gov/ServiceWorks/CRM/ServiceRequest/ServiceRequestCategory) or call the graffiti hotline at (303) 774-4327. Calls will be responded to Monday through Friday within 48 hours. your report will assist Public Works to find the graffiti and locate a property owner (in some cases this may be the City) to remove the graffiti in a timely manner.
