The City of Longmont’s Vance Brand Airport is seeking input from the public in selecting between two new logo designs. It will be unveiling the new logo at its 70th anniversary celebration on October 24.
The public has through October 11 to enter their choice between two designs that reflect the Longmont area and the achievements of the airport’s namesake, Vance Brand.
Brand, a Longmont native, was the commander of three NASA Space Shuttle missions in the 1980s and 90s, as well as Command Module Pilot aboard the historic Apollo-Soyuz mission in 1975.
