Upcoming Construction Impacts at the Intersection of Coffman Street and Longs Peak Avenue
Este artículo de noticias trata sobre la próxima construcción del Proyecto de Mejoras de Movilidad de Coffman Street. Si necesita esta información en español, llame al 303-651-8416.
Starting Monday, January 20, Longs Peak Avenue will be closed east of the intersection at Coffman Street for approximately three weeks. The intersection will be closed to westbound traffic and the parking spaces on Longs Peak Avenue closest to Coffman Street will also be closed. This closure is necessary to demo and install new concrete for the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements project.
Eastbound traffic on Longs Peak Avenue will be able to turn right onto southbound Coffman Street but traffic will not be allowed to travel through the intersection. The northbound lane of Coffman Street is currently closed between 6th Avenue and 9th Avenue.
Access to all businesses on Longs Peak Avenue will remain open from Main Street. The alley from Longs Peak Avenue in that block will also stay open.
Please check the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements Project webpage for updates on the status of construction and potential traffic impacts. We encourage the public to support businesses along Coffman Street and adjacent blocks throughout construction. Various parking options can be found on the DowntownLongmont.com parking webpage.
Questions or concerns regarding the project should be directed to the project hotline at 720-432-7058 or by emailing at CoffmanStreetMobility@longmontcolorado.gov.
